Synopsis
In this live set, I write and manipulate code to sequence original house music compositions. I performed this work live several times in 2024 including for LiveCodeNYC, Raindance Immersive, and various virtual reality venues. It is an experiment with the synchronous, how the code of computation and network link our bodies like the beat in a club.
The music was composed and performed using Tidal Cycles, a creative code adaptation of the Haskell language. I used this code to sequence synths and samples in the music software SuperCollider and on my audio hardware via midi.
