Synopsis
A live performance of spoken word and electronic music for virtual reality and IRL. Using live synths and samples I create a textured realm for invoking the interanimation of technology and the body. I read from my own poetry about creating virtual avatars binding it to text from a 15th century witch hunting manual. These twinned experiments in languaging embodiment filter through layers of noise and deconstructed club beats.

Video documentation from inside the virtual world. In my virtual avatar, tracked by my headset and controllers, I stand beneath a suspended sculptural shape washed in light. My audio feed is livestreamed into the world for a virtual audience sitting in the round in the shadows.
